1983 Suomen Lämpöpumpputekniikka Oy was established in Lapua on 29th March 1983, based on the craftsmanship of five men and decades of expertise in geothermal heating. The company had its first office at Jorma Saksi's home but later moved to rental premises at the reception hall along Härsiläntie road. The first year also saw the implementation of a significant assignment, the heating system of Ruha school.

1985 As the operation expanded, it became necessary to build an industrial hall for the company. The premises (500 m2) were erected along Suutalantie road, and the heating system was, of course, based on geothermal energy.

1991 Sale of geothermal pumps for Russian fish farmers speeded up the company's exports in the early 1990's. Geothermal heating systems managed to capture public interest in the 1992 Housing Fair in Mäntsälä, and Lämpöässä considerably expanded its business after the Fair.

2000 Lämpöässä's new graphic image was presented in 2000. Orange was chosen as Lämpöässä's colour because of its association with warmth, simple and easy operation, elegance and cosiness. As a result of design and product development, the full-scale geothermal pump Lämpöässä V10 saw daylight.

2001 The new production premises along Unikkotie road made it possible for the company to grow. The number of staff increased to twenty and the business was reorganized for efficiency. Due to growing popularity, the sale of geothermal pumps was gradually transferred to a network of distributors and agents.

2007 Lämpöässä's new product range was launched in January 2007. Elegant design, larger imbedded hot-water tanks and silent running were goals that were successfully achieved in product development.
